What we collect from producers

When you sign up as a producer on Broker Buckets, we collect your name, contact information, insurance producer license details, and the states and lines of authority you are licensed for. We use this to verify your eligibility to receive leads and to route leads to producers licensed to work them.

Where consumer lead data comes from

Broker Buckets does not collect leads directly from consumers. Every lead a producer receives here was submitted by a consumer on one of our source properties, under a written authorization that consumer gave at the time. That authorization, and the source property's own privacy notice, govern what was collected about the consumer and what they agreed to. This page governs what we collect from producers using this marketplace, not what a consumer agreed to on the property where their information was submitted.

How a consumer's inquiry reaches you, and that you pay for it

Producers pay us for the leads they receive, and the consumer is told that before their inquiry moves. On the source property a consumer authorizes, in writing, that their request may be shared with one licensed insurance agent or agency on the agent list that property publishes. That property's terms of use and privacy policy, which the same consent accepts, tell the consumer the agent or agency may pay BK Benefits Consultants LLC a fee for it whether or not the consumer buys anything. Broker Buckets is the mechanism that carries out that authorized transfer and charges the receiving producer for it.

Outside that authorization, consumer information does not move. A lead is offered only to a producer who was on the list published on the day the consumer submitted it, who holds an active license for that product in that consumer's own state, and only while no do-not-contact or revocation request has been recorded against that consumer's contact details. The source property's privacy policy, which the consumer accepts with the same consent, says the agent who receives a request may not sell it or pass it on, except as needed to place the coverage the consumer asked for, and our terms of use prohibit it as well.

What we do with your information

We use producer information to operate the marketplace: verifying licensure, routing leads, processing payments, and communicating with you about your account. We do not sell, rent or trade producer account information, and we do not disclose it for anyone else's marketing.
